Ingredients


Crumble:


  • 1.5 cups of butter (cold/frozen & grated)

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • 2 cups flour

  • 1 cup rolled oats

  • 1 tsp cinnamon


Haskap Filling:

  • 900 g frozen haskap berries

  • 2/3 cup white sugar

  • 6Tbsp cornstarch

  • 4 Tbsp lemon juice

Directions


Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)


Step 2

Make crumble: Combine flour, brown sugar, rolled oats, and cinnamon in a large bowl. Whisk until thoroughly combined. Grate in the butter, stopping occasionally to mix the butter into the flour mixture until coated.


Step 3

Make filling: Add frozen haskap berries in another large bowl. Add sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice. Mix until sugar and cornstarch are well distrubuted.


Step 4

Spread out the filling into the bottom of a lasagna pan. Sprinkle topping over the berry mixture.


Step 5

Bake in the preheated oven uncovered until the top is browned and filling bubbles around the edges, about 40 minutes.
